Powerful Business Writing Skills Workshop in Kuwait
Thus, Vigor Events & ALGAS Events organized a two-day workshop in Kuwait on the 22nd – 23rd of September 2014 under the title “Powerful Business Writing Skills” where they are hosting Shirley Taylor; bestselling author 12 successful books on communication skills.
During the informative workshop, Shirley Taylor showed some simple yet very powerful techniques that would help attendees to avoid misunderstanding and learn how to write effectively where they learned how to organize their words and thoughts in writing, structure their messages logically, present business reports attractively, and improve the format, style, language and tone of all their written documents.
The workshop was conducted in a very interesting form of Presentations, Q&A, quizzes, games, individual exercises and group work where participants were encouraged to participate and share examples from their own experience.
The facilitated workshop was designed for department heads, managers, executives, secretaries, administrators, clerical officers, and any professional of any field or background who want to write better and more confident business correspondence.
The workshop highlighted the basics of writing to get the foundations right, the methodology of updating your writing style, the five basic rules of good writing, the best way to Plan and structure messages logically, and E-mail etiquette together with more writing troubles that face every professional on a daily basis and the easy steps to overcome them.
Shirley Taylor’s book Model Business Letters, Emails and Other Business Documents seventh edition – on which the workshop is based – has sold almost half a million copies worldwide. She has attained the designation Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) which is globally recognised and awarded to speakers who have met strict criteria. Shirley is also famous for the passion and energy she puts into her workshops to make sure they are entertaining, practical and informative, as well as a lot of fun.
The “Powerful Business Writing Skills” workshop took place in Hilton Hotel and Resort in Mangaf from 8:30 am to 4:30.
